Boostan Kids Granola Recipe
3 cups old fashioned thick oats
½ cup mixed nuts/seeds of choice (we use sunflower and pumpkin
2 tablespoon coconut oil
2 tablespoon honey
4 tablespoons maple syrup
Pinch of cinnamon
Pinch of salt
Put coconut oil, honey, maple syrup, cinnamon and salt into a saucepan and heat on medium for about 3-6 minutes or until coconut oil has melted. Pour wet mixture onto oats and seeds/nuts and mix until well combined. Spread onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet and bake at 250 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
*If you like big chunks (almost like granola bar pieces) then spread mixture thick and press down firmly. For loose granola, spread thin and mix often.
